Technology QotW: Rising Gas Prices
Which small businesses are hurt most by rising gas prices? What can they do to save money?

Honestly I think all businesses are equally effected by the price of gas, unless you happen to live in your place of business and don't need to have anything shipped. The only real solution, though it's hardly a solution for some people, is to buy a hybrid (40 miles per gallon on the Prius is a lot better than most cars) use public transportation (hardly available everywhere, I used to live in rural Michigan) or bike/walk to wherever you need to go (also not an option for everyone).
Everyone is going to be hurt by rising gas prices as long as they do anything that requires gas. Air travel, shipping with UPS or FedEx, or driving in a car. The only thing that's going to let up on this is sustainable alternative energy sources, and hybrid cars. I think all cars should have solar panels, electric batteries, and an option to run on either gasoline or bio-diesel The answer is not one magic bullet, but the current technologies working together to disperse the energy demands to more than one source.
